About the Owner
Carol Myers Hickman LPN

Superior Healthcare Training Center was founded by Carol Myers Hickman in August of 2023.  Carol began her career in healthcare as a Certified Nursing Assistant in 1993.  She went on to become a LPN in 1996.  Carol has always had a passion for caring for people.  She has worked in several settings over the past 29 years to include Med-Surg, Acute Inpatient Rehab, Outpatient Rehab, Skilled Nursing, and geriatrics to name a few.  No matter where she has worked Carol always enjoys forming a work bond with the CNAs as well as the nurses she works alongside.    Carol's leadership skills and ability to adapt to any environment are some of the things she prides herself in.  Aside from nursing Carol is the wife of Roderych Hickman.  Carol has 2 children, Kanisha and Josef and a granddaughter Gabrielle.  She is a certified motivational speaker, focusing on empowering women, and  a certified trauma coach, specializing in helping abused women.  She is currently seeking a BA in Christian Leadership.  Carol is also the author of a 7 day devotional entitled "Embracing Me".  Carol recently founded "A Shoulder for You" which is an organization where healthcare workers and caregivers can take classes that range from caregiver burnout to  managing stress and so much more!  A shoulder for you also offers healthcare workers and caregivers , who are members, the opportunity to be showcased, and appreciated for their hard work and dedication to the profession.   Her favorite quote is "speak what you seek til you see what you say".  Her favorite things to do are encouraging women to be their best selves, spend time with family and watch tv.  Carol is honored to have the opportunity to assist you in reaching your goals of entering the healthcare field
